Snow Lynx, Snow Minx & Snow Sepia Bengals

How They Get Their Unique Coloring

The captivating coats of Snow Bengals are the result of genetic influences. Each type has its own unique characteristics:

Snow Lynx Bengals: Snow Lynx Bengals inherit their pristine cream or ivory coats from the Siamese gene (cs), which also gives them their signature Crystal Blue Eyes—a feature unique to this variety among Bengal cats. They are typically born completely white or with barely perceptible markings, gradually developing a brownish-gray or tan pattern against a white or cream background as they mature.

Snow Minx Bengals: The Snow Minx inherits its warm sepia-toned coat from a combination of Burmese and domestic cat genetics. Their coats often range from a light beige to a rich caramel hue, with rosettes or marbled patterns that stand out beautifully. Unlike the Snow Lynx, the Snow Minx typically has Aqua or Green Eyes, adding another layer of allure to their appearance.

Snow Sepia Bengals: The Snow Sepia Bengal is the Darkest of the three Snow Bengal types. Like the Snow Minx Bengal, Snow Sepia kittens are born with a distinctive pattern ranging from brown to dark brown. Their eyes are typically Golden or Green. The Sepia Bengal bears the closest resemblance to actual Snow Leopards.
